Giving is not just about money; giving is about helping in whatever way you’re able. This might include volunteering at your child’s school, reading to the elderly or infirm, or collecting gently used items to donate to a women’s shelter. Giving is about being generous - with your time or your money or both. It makes us feel good about ourselves, and it sets a good example for our children, too.
